Great beasts..... Vague or what? Does any religious book say anything thats not shrouded in confusion, mystery, myth and legend? Anything at all?
The question of free will is discussed in great length, with the answers derived from the quran what is true is that the words 'free will' need to be looked at in detail. This is a phrase/words that are christian in origin. a definition being 'freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes or by divine intervention ' Islam doesnt use the words free will
TFWNN would you sacrifice 3 of your 7 children if Allah can to you and commanded you to do so as a test of your faith.
yeah if you want it to be For me great beast is a more accurate than the term dinosaur, dinosaur being derived from the greek terrible and potent and lizard
honestly thats a daft question, as that isnt likely to happen any time soon. But if you look at it from the perspective of say the army, then people sacrifice their kids for less and its 6 kids at the moment. 7th one on way
Great beast could easily refer to a gorilla or toa lion, a tiger etc etc. Beast in general refers to mammals through the ages. Serpants/lizards would of been more appropriate though still wrong. Lets face it, they dont mention them.
I think you can try to explain the existence or non-existence of God, but in the end it's futile because a perfect being can't be proved with imperfect logic. We can explain the existence of anything that we can see, I can say that this keyboard exists, as I'm typing on it, and you can see the product of that. However, to say 'God exists' is in itself what's known as a 'blik', a nonsensical statement. The whole point about God is that He exists on a higher level. To say 'He exists' means 'He exists in the verifiable universe', which is untrue. Essentially, you can't say 'God exists' any more than you can say'God doesn't exist'. And for those people asking why a perfect being would create imperfect beings, maybe we are only one step in the chain. Apes have similar characteristics to us, but cannot have any sense of rationality. We are rational beings, but it is only a form. After homo sapiens sapiens, maybe there is a more perfect being that is a step closer to God.
That's because it exists on the same level as humans, it's possible to verify its existence in other ways than sight.
only problem with that view is what I said before, Its chronological. We know now that dinossaurs were created before man and after the earth came into existence beasts does indeed mean what you say, but it says 'great beasts' this is in english transltion dinosaurs were neither serpents or lizards generally as I say you can argue semantics, but given the 'evidence' we currently have I dont think there were beasts 'greater' than dinosaurs.
Ah... The old god lives in more dimensions than us line. Did this standard response from christians come about after sci fi geeks and scientists came up with the theory? Yep.
Agree with some of this. The issue/problem here is logic or rationale. These are not concepts that are static, they have changed and may yet again. To me drinking until you puke is illogical and irrational. to others it makes perfect sense
Where on earth (lol) did you find this? Since religion has existed, there has always been a concept of a heaven transcendent from human existence.
Multidimensional worlds are the stuff of Science Fiction and scientific theory. Thus christians using this to explain away their beliefs is a little bit funny.
Jordan still thick as pigshit I see You type an awful lot like Berb btw, he cried about someone questioning god aswell and he hasnt been aroound for a while now.
