When i was young, going on holiday in North Devon, i used to have a choc ice called Rum & Raisin, whatever happened to Rum & Raisin? What was your favourite ice cream when on holiday?
When I was a little girl my mom used to make her own ice cream for holiday and I love her Caramel Apple Ice Cream. It was made up of medium Granny Smith Apples, butter, sugar and cinnamon, it's really delicious. This year I'm flying back home to celebrate the holiday with my parents and I'm really glad that I was able to take out a personal loans, now I will not have any excuse not to be with them on holidays. I'm really excited to be home with some old friends and my whole large family but this time I'll be the one to make some ice cream for them. Hope everybody's will have a graet ti,e during holidays. Hope you guys nothing but happiness and the best.
Children are not allowed rum anymore. That's EU rules. If the ice cream man sells it to kids the new laws are that he has to be shot through the back of the knees with a Browning 9mm. That way he can't drive his van again.
Also the EU state that as of November 27, all raisins must be the size of melons & shaped like cucumbers. So you'll not be getting one in a cornetto anymore.
I think looking back, Rum & Raisin choc ices were where my alcohol dependency originated from. Not very good having 5 a day for 2 weeks constantly!
Rum & Raisin still exists, though i've never seen it in a choc ice. Sounds scrummy. My favourite was always mint choc chip, closely followed by rum & raisin...never vanilla, boring!
