Only argument is if the keeper tried to push it away because he saw him in the middle of the goal which led to the tap in. I don’t think the keeper could’ve held the original shot anyway
I feel sorry for Fulham as they were cruelly denied three points. Had they won, I think it would have made the end of the season quite exciting. Looking at the remaining fixtures yesterday, I felt that Fulham could have picked up a maximum of 9 points. (Burnley, Saints and Newcastle.) This would put them level with Saints if we fail to acquire any more points. I think we will probably pick up a couple of points from the remaining fixtures. The end of the season cannot come quick enough. Saints just need to get over the line in May.
Crazy decision ahead of a cup final - can only think it wasn't purely for footballing reasons as you'd think they would wait to see if he can win the first trophy in a decade or so.
