It's a pity for me it is not a 6pm kick off, that's midnight here, so much more convenient than having to wake up at 1.30 am to watch the game.

Just do the job boys, as I wouldn't like to be crawling into my bed with a loss on my mind.

Overconfidence will drown you in a sea of reality.

    You know who you are...

Exactly. I’m hoping for a win but I’d take a point. Sunderland will be fighting, it won’t be easy by any means.

That was up to just under a fortnight ago but a trio of losses has them on 8 now. My first husband was a Sunderland fan and my current one has followed their fortunes since the mid 40's. Hope they can go up together with Hull City this season.

A McGeady own goal will give us the three points. :emoticon-0148-yes:

It might only be a game but this week's reconnaissance report was your finest effort to date...I actually read it twice:emoticon-0148-yes:

This will be a tough game but Sunderland need 3 points and will have to come at us for 90 minutes. The pressure on them is huge and that should suit is perfectly? I hope we can beat them but a draw wouldn't be a disaster.

Not known as a fence-sitter so home win and 4-0...You heard it here first!!

I'm hurt. It's a cut and paste from the previous times we played them, which shows you've just skipped over them before. :emoticon-0106-cryin

    Wrong.

My education standards have improved dramatically in the last couple of years and with the aid of some of the grandkids ladybird books I have finally mastered the art of reading:emoticon-0148-yes:

    I’d much rather have confidence

I consider myself a very responsible person. If something's gone wrong, I'm usually responsible. <ok>

Personally, it will not affect me. I will never watch a game. I will not read about the teams, players or league. I will not be influenced by the product placement.

I am a Hull City supporter not a football fan.

Any chance of a fans demonstration at the ground before kick off like we used to get when we were fighting relegation ?
