They should have a breakaway league for all the franchise owned clubs and clubs owned by rich foreigners . Maybe rebuild all the stadiums brick by brick and move them all to Qatar along with their vulgarity. Leave the proper English sides where they are .
Vanarama Celtic certainly has a ring to it. Why are the jocks trying to weave their way in to this conversation, they're not invited to either league for obvious reasons.
Honestly, does anyone actually give a ****? Football has been all about the money grabbing "big" teams for years. It's pure ****ing hypocrisy from UEFA whingeing about it. Football has not been about the ordinary punter in the streets for at least 2 decades now. So **** the lot of them. There are far more important things in life than a bunch of overpaid namby pamby mincing poofters running around a park hugging, kissing, fornicating and performing fellatio on each other after a flat earth ball hits the back of a stupid ****ing fishing net.
Celtic and Rangers trending on twitter. Mostly Nigel saying invite them into the Prem when the big 4 and the wee 2 go the superleague!
This is the final nail in the coffin of the people's game. Nothing is sacred at the alter of filthy lucre.
Agree. The best way forward would be for fans to just not ever go back. Football, and especially its authorities like UEFA, hasn't given a **** about fans for years. Let the ****ers play in front of empty stadiums forever. **** 'em.
Let the six go. Relegate the three bottom Premiership clubs as usual. Promote the top six from The Championship. Play a mini league with the next two plus the next to bottom two Premiership clubs with the top three to go/stay up.
QPR?? Cheers, that made my day! Not sure we'd be much of a catch with our 18,000 stadium and barely scraping a top 10 finish in the Championship. You need a mahoosive stadium in order to compete and it needs to be packed every single game not to mention revenue from club merchandise. Just being a good team doesn't cut it any more. Interesting that they tried this with the Premier league a few years back and campaigners effectively wanted it to be locked with no promotion or relegation. Biggest support of this was the chairman of Bolton. Look at where they are now and it shows that removal of relegation would be the worst thing for football. Look at how many former Prem teams are in the wilderness, even Man Citeh got bumped down to the 3rd tier for a while. How many "massive" clubs are in the Championship or below? QPR will never be in the elite, once in a while the stars and planets may align and we get back into the Prem but we won't be one of the big boys.
