I think I've reached the point of just wanting the season to end, retain the positive vibes I'll never lose for my team, even if today they didn't turn up as we could rightly expect. Not sure what has gone wrong but everything pointing to a major sort out before too long. Fortunately a very nice lady, my wife has poured out a lovely glass of Malbec for me and her to sign off the weekend. Keep a perspective everyone, difficult but not the end of the world.

    Exactly.

It was hardly a drubbing. It was a poor game between two sides being very cautious and tense. Leicester just about deserved to win, but that's no surprise really, because they're a far better team than we are, with far more talent in their ranks.

I think both teams were poor. They just got a lucky break.

Yeah, just want the season to end now quite honestly. Need to get there and then press the reset button. Players who don't want to commit to the club can get moved on and hopefully Ralph can bring in players he wants and go from there.

Honestly, if Ralph is happy with that, I strongly urge him to either go to an opticians or a shrink <laugh>

Disappointing. Leicester comfortable in the end. We didn't offer nearly enough. Felt like many other games this season. Sigh.

I think that is an optimistic view. Diablo booking was harsh. Not sure any ref I'd going to give that second yellow for but of a barge in a high profile match.

For what it's worth, I don't think lack of effort was an issue today. I just think it's a mixture of physical and mental tiredness, poor form and lack of confidence.

On the plus side, today decided it for me to cancel both my BT and Sky Sports subscription and save me over £50.00. Really cant be bothered to watch the last 7 games. We really look like Sheffield Utd of last season, and look what happened to them this season.

We have lost the high tempo pressing game and without that we are a very ordinary team, no shots on target in a S/F is very disappointing.

There are some sides where keeping the ball and being patient works.

    Leicester are not of them.

They keep a shape, they don't particularly press, and most of all they have three solid CBs. So even if you do get beyond their midfield (and oh so many times did Redmond find himself in space, in the no.10 position), you still need to get past them. Even when we're on form, we still desperately lack someone with the craft of a Maddison who can help unlock a solid defence.

Nah. Sheffield United always had a Championship squad but they were extremely well managed by Wilder until the PL just caught up with them really. We've got far better players than Sheffield United. To compare us to them is a total over reaction.

I meant more on the basis of the pathetic form we’ve been on for the last 4 months. Season ending with a whimper, and taking no momentum into the new season. Teams like that usually struggle the following season.

He presumably didn't say which pitch?

    I'm going to guess Brighton.
