Leicester only had one and that was from a ricochet off Vesty. That aside I agree with you. Just a poor game that got marginally more entertaining after they scored. We did not use the wings enough. This summer I would like to see a PACY CB signed to partner Salisu and a 10 that can actually deliver the ball to Adams and Ings who would be lethal up front.

If you can't even raise yourselves for a winnable Wembley Semi-final then you are in deep ****. Where do we go from here? We are in a massive rut that started out with lots of extenuating circumtances for our massive drop off in form and results, but it's gone so far past that now. We've been **** for 4 months, and not just ****, worst in the league **** and there are some **** teams in this league. And neither Ralph nor the players are looking like making any sort of fight to get out of it. Like I say, if you are not even going to raise it for this game then you are in trouble. We need a complete overhaul but that's not going to happen with our ownership. This was really the only thing to look forward to with Saints at the moment, now we have an exciting end to the season where we see if we can lose every game but still somehow stay up. ****ing ****.

So tired of watching saints lose time and time again. Some sort of effort would be appreciated but same old ****.

Side note: Bertrand and Redmond are hopefully done at this club now.

Bertrand has been riding on past glories for a loooooonnnggg time at this club and has been mediocre at best since Puel.

I don’t know what the hell has happened to Redmond, but he is no longer a PL standard player.

 

The ref should’ve sent off Soyuncu but he also should’ve sent off Diallo.

But today wasn’t about the ref, it was just a **** performance again. We’ve seen it in a few games during this run. The first half is utter dog **** from both sides, we drag the other team down to our level and the game is crap. We then have a spell in the second half where we improve and look threatening and the other team still haven’t woken up, it is a great tactic, shame we still lose the games though

 

Just shows how good our first half of the season was.

We've been utterly diabolical for 4 months now, and yet we're still comfortably safe

 

I wonder why we are so hopeless at throw inns, we are so polite and always wait for the opposition to get organised and then throw it backwards and then pass back to the keeper, there must be a better option, maybe a quick throw forwards

 

As my 14 year old just said, at least we weren’t there today Dad having to drive home after watching that **** at 9pm on a Sunday.

OK. Criticism, disappointment, anger. None of that is whining. Going completely over the top to the extent that some people (not you) invariably do, that is whining.

 

I had very little expectations today so I, like the players seem to be, am pretty apathetic towards the result.

 

Perspective people. Semis are rarely entertaining or 'good' games of football. Yes we were poor. So were Leicester. So were Chelsea. So were City. Let's just see out the season with a bit of style and hope Ralph gets his 'rebuild' in the summer.

 

Of course you're allowed negative views. Just as people are allowed to disagree with those.

Christ, look at this thread, if you weren't allowed negative views it would be almost empty!

 

The players are not performing for Ralph, whether it's a fitness or confidence issue we don't know but he needs to get players that can implement his ideas and also have the energy to do so.
