FIFA and UEFA have already said if they **** off to make their own league, they will be kicked out of all competitions under their jurisdiction, including domestic leagues. If they ever wanted to return to the domestic leagues, they'd start at the bottom of the pyramid, meaning the the 'top six' would have to slum it in the Conference before getting back to the Premier League.

Let them go, greedy xxxxx. Gives everyone else a better chance. Another example of businessmen ruining the sport.

The funniest thing about the Super League is Spurs and Arsenal being part of it. Can't qualify for the Champion's League because they've been ****e compared to Leicester and West Ham so they throw their toys out of the pram and join some alternative competition that can never be relegated from.

Agree, but then how do you stop the next 'top six' becoming as bad as the ones you've just got rid of?

I watched the ManCity v Chelsea semi-final yesterday. Skilful players, slick passing and all that but it was boring. Sterile and boring.

Not surprised. Greedy self interest of a few will eventually kill the game.

Be interesting to see if they have to break away and do it on there own as surely UEFA won’t allow it.

Arsenal celebrating a draw against Fulham like they've just won the league.

American businessmen for you. Trying to create something as boring and sterile as the NBA/NFL. Personally I hope they **** off and we never have to put up with Arsenal/Man U etc and the ****s that support them ever again.

It's not about football anymore, it hasn't been for years - it's all about having a huge stadium full of customers wanting to watch ****s like Neymar acting like he's been hit by a sniper from Row Z every time he's tackled. 'Elite' football can **** off, and then keep ****ing off until it's disappeared up it's own rotten, stinking and money grabbing arsehole!

The six clubs want to have their cake and eat it too. They want to play in the PL, CL AND the new Super League.

UEFA and the PL have said that any team signing up for the Super League will be disqualified from all current European and domestic competitions though. If the top six join the new league, they're out of the PL. Super League won't start until 2024 as well so the top six won't play a single game of competitive football for 3 years.

VAR now this. Why do I feel as if football, as we once knew it, is dying on its arse. I'm all for progress and change, but in the right direction.

Oh they can **** off for me, as long as they’re never allowed back in.
    No FA Cup
No England call ups for any of their players.
Oh and I agree with Gary Neville. Deduct them all points for saying they want to go.

...and they can take ****ing VAR with them too

I admire him for speaking out, since his own club Utd are one of the clubs proposing to join this 'Super League'.

I agree with him completely, points deduction for this season for all six clubs for bringing the game into disrepute and if they follow through, disqualified from all domestic competitions. No domestic league, no FA Cup, no League Club.

I'd let them back in if they grovelled but they'd have to start at the bottom of the pyramid. Be quite humbling for them when Salah is getting kicked to **** on a weekly basis by plumbers and brickies in the Merseyside Conference Division <laugh>

The premier league kicking off is the height of irony after what they’ve done to football in this country. Reap what you sow
