Yeah..but the qualifying times are so close, there's still plenty of opportunity to bring it home on the podium, which would be superb!
Bottas' best time came in Q1, must have had damage from the kerbs surely? Not heard a peep about it in the media though.
2012 Giggsy- 2013 was the weird year where they took a new concept in design in the final year of regs before hybrid cars in 2014 and it left Button & Perez fighting for top 10. Almost a whole decade it’s taken McLaren to start fighting back- but at least the signs are more promising. We need McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine taking it to the front two.
Aston Martin & Mercedes crying about the unfair rule changes that were designed to make it less of a Mercedes show. anyone have any sympathy? No? Me neither, copycat copycat sitting by the doormat.
No word. The grid being tight will have made it look worse. There was a time where you could be 0.5s back and still be on the front row
Thanks . I could look but been stupid busy . Willook at Ted kravitz post qualifying if there was one .
I suspect an issue- he’s looked pretty good all weekend up until Q1. We’ve seen Max take some hurt from the kerbs so who knows what could have happened. It’s a good thing though that the pack is so close that 4 tenths costs you 4 rows on the grid!!
According to Mercedes neither driver could warm the soft tyres properly for the start of their Q3 laps. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/mercedes-tyre-warm-up-issue-caused-bottas-q3-struggles/6327101/
Weird, Aston burning rear brakes on both cars! They are supposed to be in Parc ferme so no changes plus lower temps today! Strange?
I almost think it would be nice to have a dry race as then lewis would be racing max and checo without any external factors. Be good wet though
The Ferraris look fast in the conditions - it’s just that the inters are leaving them a little short of grip on the one corner. Choice of slick tyre will be interesting because I’d imagine the soft tyre would be easily the fastest in slightly damp conditions? It’s a case of how they last?
