Regarding the worst team - we won’t get a centre back as good as Sanderson, a winger as good as Jones, and McGeady will either leave or be that little bit older, and let’s face it his presence on the pitch is only reason we think we can win games. Let’s hope Speakman and co. Deliver as people say they will. Though Birmingham have hardly pulled up trees the last decade.

We've got Willis to come back and Xhemajli who looked very decent in pre season before he got injured on international duty. Along with Wright they're more than enough to handle strikers in this league man.

We'll build a team which doesn't just rely on one flair player. We're too predictable at the minute, and too easy to defend against. We will be equipped to go up next season if we don't do it this year.

Ambrose Fogarty there’s a name from the past
Think I’m right in saying he’s the only player to win an international cap while playing for Hartlepool

No wonder you're pissed off all the time if that's what you truly believe.

It's nonsense though. We've got one of the richest owners in English football and there's no salary cap next season. I know you think there will be one but that's just being negative for the sake of it, there's no evidence it's the case.

Have you not been impressed with Dreyfus so far, is it your feeling that he doesn't know what he's doing and won't spend on the team?

Funny thing is, Peterborough and Hull are the top 2 without any of those players. Mad.

Honestly don't know what the way forward is.. There is no ****ing way we are going up with Power, Wright, O'Nien and McFadzean in defence, not to mention the complete drop off in form of our front 3. Do we stick with them and hope for the best, or change it up?

not being funny here marra but you cant have watched the same game i did, scowen and leadbitter had the midfield to themselves, wyke tried damn hard with little good service or his lack of real pace letting him down...mcfadz was an idiot and lucky to not get sent off, jones improved on last week but i will grant you he was not great, cant really fault burge as never got a good view of the goal, seems he may have been unsighted/distracted by a couple of players in front of him but i would think he could/should have saved it, both teams struggled to get anything decent on target but anything else at him he managed to keep out.

It’s funny that both of these posts I completely agree with!! We were far better than Blackpool... yet I honestly think we could still be playing and not scored! Which is worrying to say the least!!

I thought the goal was all on Burge. Both hands and it went through his legs. You get taught as a kid in goal not to stop a ball with your feet apar. Only cost us a point mind.

Scowen had the midfield to himself yet created nothing, got in no goalscoring positions and was hardly involved in the game. Wyke was dreadful as usual, some of Jones’ crossing particularly from corners was abysmal.

We always get excited about owners and it never ends well. It was this season or bust for me. No fans and packed schedule should have benefited us and gave us an advantage.

What are you drinking?? No fans a benefit? To who?

Edit: Actually, I may see your logic here. “If I’m not there slating them regardless of how they play. Maybe they’ll play better”

I’d love to know the “logic” behind that comment!

oh, hang on, doesn’t need to be logical, just negative - even to the point of slating an, as yet, unknown team/squad! That is possibly the most negative thing you’ve said yet! And you’ve had a fair crack at it

When we travel away to teams it’s a powder keg which often results in the referee giving decisions against us. Also the players crumble under the pressure of that atmosphere.
