Just taking the youngest for a haircut then it's various domestic chores, painting tomorrow. The oldest off drinking beer and playing golf.
After a lifetime of house renovations, I have officially binned off painting. When I was ill before Christmas, (and couldn’t do it) I managed to find a good decorator and decided that from now on I will call him as necessary!
A wise choice. I sacked that off about 7 years ago when faced with acres of wood chip ceilings and a full house to do. **** that.
Good day so far. Cricket nets first thing. Managed to clad my shed roof this afternoon. Just been up the golf club practice area with a mate and our son's, hot dogs and cold beers from a chancers cart on the way back. Gonna light the chimnea and sit out the back this ebening. Couple of beers probs. Proper golf in the morning. All of this in the blazing sun, spring is here.
Not my pic, but this was taken off the coast of Cornwall today. It's really good news. Because we haven't had many Basking Sharks here for years, something to do with the plankton blooms moving due to a change in the Gulf stream. Anyway, they are back You can swim/paddle right up to these huge fish. I've literally brushed my foot against one when it swam under my surfboard.
