Holy moly THAT WAS GREAT A superb qualifying, closely compact field, drivers punished when they made a mistake, and precision rewarded. AWESOME. Perez, Norris, Hamilton with incredible laps
Now, two Red Bulls in the top three, and Lewis without backup from Valtteri. Tables turned on strategy perhaps.
Today we saw two great champions of the past being beaten by their younger teammates. Respect to Ocon and Stroll. On a day where we see the young guns beating up their elders Norris/Ricciardo we still see one oldie standing, beating up not only his younger teammate but also getting the better of both Red Bull drivers who have youth speed and experience and showing they have the fastest car on the grid. Is the pilot of car 44 the greatest in two generation?
You all know I like / rate Valtteri . But if If today wasn't a technical / driver error damage fault , I would look to replace him if the WCC becomes a doubt . I still think TOTO is to loyal for that , but we will see.
He's a number 2 there always has been, Mercedes don't want two quick drivers like 2016 again as Hamilton will throw he's dummy out again.
You might know a thing or two about spitting dummies, because your always in a bit of a huff yourself. Settle down, put the kettle on, and dunk a few biccies. It'll be reet as rain. You'll see! Chin up!
Shame Norris lap got deleted as he of been 2nd or 3rd wouldn't he, be nice to see mclaren back to 2013 and older form fighting for wins
I voted Verstappen but did think of voting Perez. I would love to see Perez get this but I suspect if there is a danger of that and Verstappen is in second then team orders will apply. I do want Lewis to get his 8th but not without a fight to the last.
