Kenny Dalglish has revealed he has a fully fit squad to select from against Manchester United this weekend.

That is the big question, imo Aurellio should not be even on the bench after being out for so long same goes for Johnson. Agger and Kelly have played games this season so their match fitness is better and they should be able to play some part.

Gerrard should start but may not last the whole game if it is still frantic later on.

I am pretty sure I saw on our fox soccer channel that he was going to start? Not sure how they could have got that info and no one knows over there, but I am pretty positive the headline was "Gerrard to start on Saturday".

I agree about Johnson and Aurelio, no chance do they make the bench, they will just injure themselves.......again!

Agger being fit is a big bonus, he must start, miles better player than Skrtel.I would have Kelly at RB as he is more matched fit, and Stevie would have to start for me, cos hes quality, and to give the team & crowd an extra boosta if it needed it

I would be really tempted to start Dirk n Suarez up top,as they tore um 2 shreads the 1st half hour last year

I disagree about Johnson n Aurelio, Id have at least Johno on the bench

I know we already disagreed about this on another thread, but when was the last time either of them had played? Are they better than say putting a Robinson, Maxi, maybe even a Coates? Probably yes, much more experience, internationals, the works. But when was the last time they played?

I think it was last year that Johnson had just come back from an injury and was thrown in straight away and he looked so slow, way off the pace, and it was against Wigan or someone like that. I would be a bit worried by the pace United have down the flanks, which Johnson could cover if he was fully fit!

Agree on agger though, if he is ready, he has to start.

    my view o nthe question of readiness is;

    1. johnson cannot be anywhere near match fit. he's hardly had preseaosn nor a kick of a ball.

    2. ditto aurelio

    3. kelly played v everton so he should be fairly ready.

    4. gerrard is not ready for 90mins so we don't know how much time he will play for.

    5. agger played all of preseason and up to two weeks ago so really his injury should mean he's fully ready really.

the fox news whatever on gerrard is bull, no one knows yet and i'd rather launch him from the bench and get another rise out of the crowd than see him come off after 60mins exhausted and the scored tied or something.

I was questioning the story too, but it is hard to trust an American programme run by canadians and then of course news and fox don't go hand in hand.

I've just been on the official site and Daniel Agger is in contention for the game at the weekend.

If everyone was match fit I'd personally go for

    Reina
    Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique
    Bellamy Gerrard Lucas Downing
    Kuyt Suarez.

Not necessarily in a 4-4-2 formation, but those 11.

However, I suspect we may get something like:

    Reina
    Kelly Carragher Skrtel Enrique
    Kuyt Lucas Adam Downing
    Carroll Suarez

So basically our starting XI against Everton. Maybe swap Skrtel for Agger depending on the fitness of the latter.

    Bench will probably be:

Gerrard, Bellamy, Doni, Henderson, Robinson, Johnson, Coates (or Skrtel if Agger is fit)

I'd like to see Maxi on there, but he doesnt seem to be in favour atm.

Good luck for the game lads <ok>

What do you think the final score will be?

I think 2-1 United but hope for 2-0 Liverpool.

I put 2-0 Liverpool in our little prediction league.

I also put Spurs to beat us 2-1.

If we play **** all game but sneak a 1-0, I'd be happy with that. United are more likely to do that though.
