Do the Leicester players who broke Covid restrictions have to self-isolate or suffer any further punishments? It would help if Maddison and Perez weren’t playing <laugh>

Could Rishi Sunak ask questions in the House about this? Could he claim that Gary Lineker unlawfully lobbied him? ****. Desperation getting the better of me. God knows what I'll be like by Sunday.

Short answer is that they are eligible according to press reports. I have no idea how that works.

The way I see this game is blue line on what has happened before.

This is a FA Cup semi final. This is a chance to make history.

I am not going to be down in the run up. I’m going to be excited. This is what supporting a team is for. All the **** we go through as fans are for moments like this. If we can’t be happy in the build up, then what is the point.

Why be miserable in the run up to a CUP SEMI FINAL. We’ve got this. This is our year.

COYS!!!!!

Apparently it's only a "****ing semi-final". It's like we get to this stage every season with some of the comments I've read.

I agree, it’s almost as if some want misery so they can say “I told you so”.

Life is crap sometimes, so why can’t we grab any bit of enjoyment whilst we can.

I couldn't agree more. I think it's really important for every fan to understand regardless of the **** show on Monday that these opportunities come along so infrequently for us that they just have to be savoured. Save the doom and gloom until after defeat if it goes that way.

Every fan will have their own memories from certain games in years gone by but the last time we had success at this stage was a game I'll treasure forever. It was the first time as a Saints fan recalling us being even remotely successful (I grew up in the 90s - exciting but hardly glory years). I went with my dad and can picture exactly where we sat (Trinity Road upper) and surprisingly remember most of the game (Brett's header right in front of us was certainly the highlight).

Sadly my dad is no longer with us so these types of games are now that extra bit special and I'll certainly be looking forward to it all the way up til kick-off.

I aired my grievences about Monday's non performance and why I thought it was unacceptable for players to "not be arsed" as Tom described it in any competitive match on the relevant match thread.
This is another day and a massively important match that I am looking forward to with intense excitement and hope and if we win it Monday will be a distant memory.

I would never diminish the importance of a Wembley appearance in a S/F in which we have the opportunity to go to a final in the most prestigious domestic cup competition in the World.

Never said it was ok, just drawing a line under it and moving on.
Regretfully many just don't move on. It's probably best that we're not playing in front of our crowd at present. I recall from pre lockdown, SMS provided an indifferent level of support for quite a few of the squad ensuring a fragile mentality. But I reckon Wembley, even as empty of atmosphere as it will be, will spark the team, whoever Ralph chooses to play. They all know what most of us know what they can do.
