I think spurs are going to bring Newcastle back down to earth and turn them over 3 or 4 - 0. adebayor hatrick!!!!

Our game, who fecking knows??? If Arsenal fancy it we'll get spanked and Bruce will tell you after the match that he guided us to 10th so he must be a good manager and "wer" lucks just down and the players need time to gel and we finished 10th last season if he hasn't mentioned it.

Arsenals defence is poor at the moment, seems like the majority of the team have lost confidence, Jack Wilshere is a huge miss, and now Rosicky is also a doubt. Arsenals advantage is being at home, both teams and both managers needing to turn things around.
I'm expecting a very good game. I don't wish to make predictions on our own game, it'll be the kiss of death.

    VDV is injured too <ok>

I think we'll win by the odd goal.

Sorry Sunderland but I don't think you'll get much out of L'Arse at the Emirates.

Don't forget that noodles can be super too!

I see Arsenal winning at the Emirates and still unsure about the Spurs result as I don't know what team they'll put out due to injuries.

Not meaning to be Mr Negative but I see 2-0 to the NORF LANDAN clubs.

My best mate is die hard Arsenal so i'd like to see a mackem win (it will also prolong the Bruce era) and I think Tottenham's pace will trouble us big time. :-(

Arsenal aren't anything special these days, and with putting our rivalry aside, i think SAFC are capable of taking a point, even all three. Jenkinson and Gibbs will be playing full-back, so if Bruce tries to exploit there and get the ball in the box for Wickham, then you will cause Arsenal problems.

I guarantee most pundits will right us off against Spurs, but i'm happy with proving them wrong, like we have so far. Spurs are without Adebayor but they still have plenty of players who are capable of destroying teams when on form. Bale against Simpson worries me, Santon needs to start so we can cope with Lennon's pace. Cabaye and Tiote Vs Modric and Parker will be fascinating and i think we will win if dominate CM . Ben Arfa and Jonas will cause them problems aswell (if Benny starts)

Newcastle 2 Spurs 0 - Optimistic but definitely possible.

We tend to do well against 'Arry and the Spuds it will probably be decided by the odd goal if there is to be a winner.

I actually fancy Sunderland to get a result against Arsenal. I only say that because it would be genuinely funnier if they got sucked into a relegation battle than you lot.

Both Arsenal and Sunderland teams are low in confidence with the start to their season but think Arsenal will edge it 1-0

Newcastle and Spurs both started well and always a tough game. Our team are high on confidence so I'm going for 2-1 to us.

I think there'll be at least three points coming to the North East and I wouldn't mind if it was six.

    Arsenal 4-0 Sunderland

I think this is the game Arsenal kick on, unfortunately. It could be a thrashing. Michael Turner vs RVP is already giving me nightmares. Bolton next week is the big one, if we lose to them and Villa, Bruce has to go.

    Newcastle 1-3 Spuds

I think it'll be a good game really. Can see Spuds edging it, Newcastle pressuring then them nicking a last minute third. Can see you's getting a point here though, just depends what Spurs team turns up.

Sunderland will get tonked for me because Bruce will continue to bury his sizeable head and keep playing players out of position. Arsenal have now had a while to get a bit more bedded in after a frantic few weeks, and I'd imagine they are acutely aware of the ground they've lost. I see Arsenal 4-1. With our game we are at home but I suspect Spurs are going to be tough for us to get anything from. They look to be in pole position of those realistically in the race for the 4th CL spot. I'll go 1-1 because we usually do quite well against them but I'm not convinced. If we do get beat it will at least be amusing to read the inevitable morning press about how we've been "brought back down to earth", "ran out of luck", "found out about our team after a REAL fixture" or some other generally stupid remark. Indeed I think the best thing about our early season form is the anguish it has heaped on the southern press and media pundits like Merson, Le Tissier and Lawrenson.

I fancy Sunderland to win at Arsenal. Arsenal are **** at the moment and I think Sunderland could nick the points.

For us maybe a draw is the most realistic but with plenty of injuries for Spurs and a talented midfield for us, a win is certainly not out of the question.

    Arsenal 1-2 Sunderland
    Newcastle 2-2 Spurs
