Haha! Though to be honest I think Mings, Kuntz and the likes of Gunter are unfortunate for anyone.

Shinnie has a particular quality of unfortunate-ness to footballers specifically

Oliver Kant was the German keeper when England beat them 5 - 1 in 2001.

Highlights from yesterday. Krul made a couple of great saves, the one handed diving stop and his smother from Roberts were very good. My heart was certianly in my mouth when he was tackled though. Three points, onwards and upwards :)

A quick shout out to zogean_king, whose run on the MDT's stretches back to Feb 13th, following my Swansea defeat, with a quite remarkable 12 (twelve) wins and a solitary draw.
Easy to see where the 'king' bit fits in now. <ok> <applause>

Fair play to Watford too, 11 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat in the same time period.

All that means is that after 13 games we are 1 point further ahead of them and their MOM.

I have been sitting in the pavilion with my pads on hoping he doesn't get caught out.

That has to be the best run of results ever usurping Bure and Bengal surely ?

What about 18/19 when there was that epic run?

That was 14 games in a row unbeaten, not sure if we had a regular MDT contributor for that run.

Yeah I definitely don’t remember anyone at all writing match day threads back then.

We will have to just judge match day thread writing success from this season, and accept that someone might have had a better record than king zog, but they’re not remembered.

It's just good we have enough contributors on here to do a winner stays on format which has been a marvellous addition.
Hopefully next season even more intrepid poster's will throw their hat's into the ring as wins will surely be as common as unicorn manure again .
