**** me ... very nearly got something when frankly with that team selection we shouldn't have ... Coming through that the 3 left out was down to a breach of Covid protocol ... which is really disappointing. Much different squad to this time last season in terms of quality and depth and showed what they can do, albeit too little too late. Got West Brom, Palace and the Toon at home to come, so plenty there to be positive about. ... and bring on the Saints in the Cup
My heart can't take going 3-0 up, fortunately Ogbonna is back in training which makes our defence so much better.
Would have happily taken a point today before the game, given how good you have been ... happy with the way we responded even if it was too late in the game. Only the second time we have been beaten away, so congratulations and it was well deserved on your first half performance. Not the worst result in the world in overall terms, considering that if VAR hadn't called the "4th" it could have got very embarrassing. If we don't make Top 4 I hope you do... but even if we both miss out it will still have been a pretty good season when you consider where we both were around 10 years ago... all to play for
If he was that good he'd still be playing for you instead of Fred and McTominey... but I would never swap him for Maďders ... but your club undoubtedly would ... as if though ... and some players go through purple patches... would you like me to quote Iheanachos's stats compared to Mason Greenleaf's over the last 6 league games? ... probably not ... or even the season
The stats on our game are unreal .. and also show just how much stats can be misleading @astro ... West Ham apparently had 36% possession and 4 goal attempts of which 4 were on target ...given that they had a goal chalked off they hit the net with every goal attempt! ... In contrast we had 64% possession and 15 goal attempts of which only a third on target. The reality is that West Ham were in almost complete control for 70% of that game.
Seasons not over mate ... possibility of Top 4 or Top 6 and an FA Cup semi to come? ... a more satisfying season for us than finishing as Manchester's second team in every competition possible, I suspect ... but then our expectation is likely more modest ... good luck in the Europey leg btw
Seems odd that mate. I mean you was playing kiss chase with Roy all summer on his board. Id stick Welshie on ignore too if he ripped me a new one on a daily so that one makes sense.
