That home record us has done us. Should NEVER have got into this position in the first place they keep crapping on us like this, in 5 days our season has finished, why does he not start 2 up front this has been going on season after season, get diamond in Embleton back from Blackpool and Kimpioka back, i doubt Lee will be here for long now another poor first half, try selling season cards now before Tues. We have no chance of beaten any of them teams in the play offs after that, another depressing season coming to an end unless a miracle of not jus Peterboro and Hull slipping up but Blackpool. Will this season get called off ? that's the only way now.

I’m not convinced we are unlucky every comment on here from nearly everybody is we start absolutely ****e every match, they want to knock that on the head to start with and then I would feel a lot more confident, but this is usually what you get from Sunderland and people who’ve been supporting them for 60 years + know exactly what I mean, on to the next match and pray a bit harder.

We haven’t played well since we beat Portsmouth.

Oh yeah I forgot, can’t criticise the team when they’re not doing it. Have to be dead positive ALL the time. Give your head a shake man.

Fed up of being stuck in this **** division, no doubt we will head into the play offs in garbage form whilst the likes of Portsmouth go in with momentum

Can’t wait to see the back of some of these useless twats in the summer.

Is that Portsmouth who got beat at home off Burton today? We win on Tuesday and we're only 2 points off second with 18 points to play for. There will be more twists and turns. Hull will go up imo. It's between us and Posh now.

Changes need made going forward. Gooch i never want to see again and AOB is chod aswell. Hume to start every week aswell

I love LJ, but I was very surprised when we set up with three at the back at home. We were better when we switched to a back four, but there was far too many long balls instead of playing it on the ground.

A bad day at the office, but we go again on Tuesday when I expect O9 to go RB or midfield, with McLaughlin partnering Sanderson at CB

Time to let the shackles off the full backs going forwards for me. Hume in to start and mcloughlin at right back until a cb comes back and onien can go there, don’t think power or mcfadzean offer anything there tbh. Might as well go for it in these games now got nothing to lose, top 2 is still achievable but performances have to improve.

It's definitely do-able, but you're right mate, finishing, in particular, has to improve

Performances haven’t been good enough, I agree with that, but I don’t think it’s time to give up on automatic let alone winning the playoffs. 2 points in it if we win our game in hand and key players all coming back. Johnson has tried every formation and given every player a chance, he’s even managed rotation well and that could play a factor yet. I do think he needs to make a decision on what he thinks suits us best and go for it though. I’m still confident getting the full back area sorted and a run of games for Jones is going to make a difference

That back 4 should start on Tuesday. When Wright is fit he would come in for Onien to move back into midfield for me.
Agree. Shape didn't work from the start today
They were always going to use their height and physicality we needed a solid back four.
Gooch and McFadzean were a waste of players stood out wide neither attacking or defending.
Saying that they took their chance and we missed ours. Could have been a very different first half.
For me the second goal was the sickener. We were a mess should have changed at half time and we could have got something

All easy to say in hindsight of course
