    Out of pure interest.
IMO, if Spurs had won the bid, Levy would have gone through with it against your wishes. A bit like our board are doing.
I was 50/50 about moving, but now i'd rather stay at Upton Park. Let that bellend Hearn have it.

What sort of claptrap is that?
For the last 100 years you lot have cried about the arsenal invading your territory.

    Arsenal are from Kent.
Even if you reject the idea of London being divided up, they're not from London at all.

Of course the same allegation could be levelled at both of our clubs, too.

I'll let you know if I'm ever embarrassed or rediculed or a follower of east Londons least supported club.

You may not have said West Ham were bigger/as big as Spurs, but plenty of your deluded, arrogant fellow fans have done so. I'll worry about who I like, the fact that we've dominated you for over 100 years gives me great pleasure - West Ham always in our shadow <ok>

I hate it when we lose to anyone, particularly West Ham, but as we beat you more times than you beat us, that's even more pleasure for me <laugh> Plus I love seeing you lose to other teams, which you do with comical consistency when you are in the top flight - so even more fun for yours truly <ok>

Your typical cheap, inaccurate jibe about 'Lasagne' sums up why I despise your club so much. The actual problem was a norovirus, nothing to do with lasagne - 'West Ham fan talks utter crap shocker'

The obscene celebrations you put in when you won a game that left you in 9th place say everything about your small-time bitter little club and fans. Relegated for each and every of the last 5 decades - I love it <laugh>

It's so great you're back playing your true rivals in Millwall.

Has Tevez signed yet BTW <laugh>

I don't need to try again as I run rings around you every time. It's so easy because I'm comparing Spurs to West ham and it's like catching fish in a barrel pointing out how inferior you are to us <ok>

I'm well aware about what your fans despicable gloating was about that day in 2006, I was being sarcastic and ramming home the point about how insignificant and nasty your fans are to get such joy that Arsenal rather than Spurs got into the Champions League. Still as you love crying in Arsenal's petticoats, it's no surprise. 'That horrible Tottenham have finished above us again, boo hoo, but you're better than them aren't you big sis, say it's so, bo hoo, <cry>'

Defining a 'big club' is notoriously difficult but lots of your fans seem to have no problem in thinking you are bigger than clubs like Blackburn, Bolton, Fulham, Stoke, Forest and Leeds, when to me it's far from clear you are. It's obvious we're bigger than you as we have more trophies, more top flight points, higher UEFA ranking, currently in a higher division, bigger fanbase, we simply wipe the floor with your two bob outfit.

I would say overall that Newcastle are a big club, but I agree it's debatable. I don't think there's any real debate that they're bigger than you as they beat you on most of the criteria, that I would look at anyway.

Of course the amount of top flight points is important in discussing 'bigness', it is a guide as to how well teams have done in that flight. Maybe that's why you keep getting relegated, you dim-wits at the Boo-leyn haven't yet realised that the table is actually defined by that criterion.

West Ham Fan 1 - 'We've got 35 points with one game to go'

Zola the Dim - 'Points aren't important in this league'

West Ham Fan 1 - 'Oh that's ok'

One week later - West Hame are relegated again, the conversation resumes

West Ham Fan 1 - 'Good job that points don't matter'

Zola the Dim - 'Just listen to me bruv, Del Boy put me right on this years ago. He was delivering those castles for our ground at the time, right pukka they are.

Well said PNP - Zola really is a bit dim isn't he. I specifically referred to top flight points. Doubtless there are seasons when Orient or Exeter get more points than us for example, but 55 points in Lge 1 for example, is hardly better than 54 points in the Prem is it. Of course to the Lge 1 club it may be, but looking at the overall size of a club, clearly Prem points count more than Lge One points.

Are you seriously suggesting someone else enrol at an ESOL course when your own punctuation is as bad as any on the board? You have often been corrected, yet you still choose to play the pedant. Why is that?

Yes, already covered that. I think I had started to nod off half way down your post. Clearly you don't read everything either as I had previously stated.......

"That "points" table is all very well, but it doesn't really tell the story does it, a team could consistently gather more points in a lower division"

I think that table tells the story perfectly. After all, the story is about number of points accrued in the top division.

    Okay, so the difference is?

The fact is, Levy consulted Spurs fans about as much as the David's did WHU fans.

Along with CE then I am pretty sure had you won the original bid, you would be moving, because Levy see's all the financial benefits, which is exactly what it's all about.
