Outplayed again 30% possession at home is appalling. I thought NP would really shake up the team and get amongst them, but it’s every bit as drab as when Holden was in charge. May as well have kept LJ if this is all we have ended up with

Forest a far better side than us.

Having said that we have defended well and I cannot fault the commitment.

Lansbury's defensively is good but his passing is still poor, Massengo having a great game but again passing is poor, Palmer putting in a lot of effort.

They have what we are missing, a central midfielder in Garner who is their midfield pivot.

    Semenyo is poor so far.

Are we not including Lansbury as our player?

Agree with everything apart from 5 for Semenyo, looks poor, Lansbury 6 looks good defensively and a great free kick that hit the post.

Jiffie hates Lansbury as much as RP hated LJ as a player

Not according to the bristol post at half time but he did hit the post..<laugh>

    'Lansbury hits the post

Massengo wins a free-kick on the edge of the box and Lansbury steps up to shoot, after Rowe sets it. Hits the outside of Samba's left upright. So close.'

HNM my MOM, not bad for a lightweight (not my words) who’s one of the top of the leagues in being fouled.

At least my criticism comes from watching rather than from stats.

Do you always have to refer to watching like none of us also watch weekly?

Better side in the 2nd half, should have had a penalty.

I will take that today, mainly for the clean sheet. A lot of effort put into the game, ending with 10 men for the last 5 minutes.

HNM was great today as I said just needs to sharpen up his passing. Lansbury had his best game for us so far, another whose passing needs sharpening up, he protected the back 4 who were superb also.

Looks like Simpson has picked up guess what? a hamstring injury. Pity because he was good today.

Wells and Semenyo were poor but as usual working with nothing. Bakinson looked good when he came on, unlike Diedhiou who was a virtual spectator.

I refer to it because not many do watch, but still have a lot to say about performances and use results to mourn the loss of a manager who has been gone for nearly a year and use as a stick to beat a manager who inherited a poor squad and has an opportunity to bring 1 player.

It’s hilarious people have given up on him and say he’s not up to it and seem to forget he’s only bloody 19 so instantly should be the dogs bollocks of midfield.

I can see him as a premiership player in a few years and one of the players we currently have that could sell on for a lot of money.

Then again I didn’t watch the game so I’m not going to say imaginary things pretending I watched today

I agree and I don't mind admitting I was one. The problem is he has been up to now badly handled but Pearson knows that he is still a kid and has done a great job of protecting all of the kids that he has brought in so far and I am sure will not hesitate to protect him again if his form falls away.

Had Forest had him next to Garner today, I think they would have won, Forest lacked a player like Massengo and we missed a player like Garner.
