Lonnie Donegan Sunderland Empire 1958 ? start of a long list.including the Beatles, Stones Cliff Zep Bowie etc. One of the best memories was Terry Reid at 16/17? fronting the Jaywalkers at Ashbrook in which he covered the Otis Blue album that had just come out, mind blowing at the time.

Saw Roger Waters again 3 years ago in Amsterdam on the Us and Them tour. Was even better than The Wall tour, totally blew me away and of course being in Amsterdam, some local delicacies helped me enjoy it.
Saw Madonna last year on her Madame X tour, was in a theatre and we were 3 rows from the front. I know there will be lots of you that don't like Madonna but I idolised her in the 80s and 90s so to be so close to her was just incredible.

    Queen at the Landfill

The Alarm at Leeds University Lower Refectory

But I would have to give it to Pat Benatar at the City Hall - it was so unique as she only played a few gigs in the UK and the City Hall was one

Duran Duran were supposed to support but they had a hit single that week and didn't show up (Thankfully)
