Is it a former hero?Is it a former hero? So the bogey side come to the CCS this weekend complete with a very special strike threat. Don't know whether or not it's just me,but following on from the hurt of last seasons collapse and the reasons behind the final performance and subsequent castigation of key players,I am looking forward to seeing Chops again and hope the guy gets a decent reception. For those who still cannot forgive him I ask them to reflect upon the whole of his time as a Bluebird and enjoy the memories. I just hope we finally break the hoo-doo that usually hampered us against the Tractor Boys this Saturday.
He really enjoyed his time at City and did a great job for you so I hope youll give him a good reception. We think hes a bit special too and are very pleased hes with us in Suffolk.
It all depends on Chops, if he scores (and it's sod's law he will ) well will he do an Earnie and just wheel away to get on with the game, keeping the City fans onside or celebrate and from then on get as much stick as any visitor from the opposition......can't see the City fans giving him a hard time just for the sake of it though.
I won't forget the two goals against the Jacks when we won 2-1 at the CCS, he'll always have a round of applause from me
There's a familiar pattern of former Bluebirds scoring against us but never fear Malky will trip Chops up (ala Wurzel Gary Johnson) if he dares to celebrate. Remember his hat trick v Plymouth 2009? Incredible considering we had 10 men on the pitch.
We may be your bogey side but on the flip side we have never beaten a team managed by Malky McKay and he is ex Norwich scum! Looking forward to a tough game of football and I will be happy with a point as we will go into it as under dogs.
I like Chopra he is what he is, on a good day he is fantastic, on a bad day he is stroppy and spits his dummy out. I will certainly give him a good welcome.
chops has got his form back since he joined the tractor boys and is scoring for fun again.....he deserves respect when running on to the pitch just like magic daps Trundle when he played his first match back at the liberty for the wurzels......players move on for all sorts of reasons and his was to cut the wage bill...
4 league goals in 10, hardly 'scoring for fun'. £1m is a low fee but big wages so theres not only the fee to consider but the saving on wages at that price he was bound to come back to haunt us but he'd have to score at least 15 goals to really p*ss me off
that is a pretty good scoring average in the championship, and his goals have come in recent games. he will get 20+ goals for the tractor boys this season easily...
No Dai, he got 2 in their first game and 2 in their last one - there were 8 games in between where he didn't score.
scumarexxxx Why don't you just leave the arexxxx of the end of your user name.......then you'd have it right
