Another sports betting company. What a surprise. Seriously, the pervasiveness of these companies is ridiculous. They're all over the place, like parasites. Oh for the days when teams were sponsored by electrical goods companies.

On a serious note, I do wonder though that we live in such a politically correct world, but we still allow open Alcohol & Gambling adverts. Alcohol though is only after 9 on TV if I am correct? In an ideal world we wouldn't have a betting company on the front of our shirts, but as I said earlier, it is what it is.

I like your positive attitude but seriously the morals go out the window nowadays. Clubs need money, fans and media like teams that spend it. Money is the core of football now, like it ir not.....its about survival in this league.
Directors have to what’s best for the company. Governments make laws that create a moral environment for them to operate in. This needs legislation to stop it for all clubs and all sports
In the recent interview with the commercial director (when he said he hoped to announce the new sponsor in a couple of weeks) he stated that shirt sponsorship from betting companies carry a 30% premium compared to other shirt sponsors. It's a no brainer financially and the sooner the Gov bans advertising for betting companies the better for everyone.
