I don't think Tarkowski is fit either - he has huge ears. Note 1: A field day for Joelinton = 1 scuffed chance on goal, one shot straight at the keeper, 4 shots off target and 3 stumbles when in on goal.

Joelinton was indeed better than Gayle but his conversion rate is infinitesimally low. "He also won tackles" I don't find a particularly praiseworthy attribute in a 40million pound striker. Sunday was probably his best game for us but at the end of that, with the chances he had, he should have done much better.

The price is irrelevant and he's not actually a striker. He got as many goals assists in one game as jonjo has all season. He wins tackles... Thats such huge asset to any side, but gets overlooked. He's improving every week.. Since Jones came in he's been in the top 3 performing players every week. It's time people started looking at the players that are playing badly every week imo. Joe will score again on Sunday
I'm not saying he's a 40 million pound striker im saying he's been one of our better players overall for a few months. I'd rather have Rondon or Perez. The fans never let it go with perez he was a goalscorer.

Seperate argument Perez was our top scorer most seasons. I don't know why fans pick out a player and go after them relentlessly even when they play better. It's distasteful... Get behind them when they play well.

2 and 2 for the league, Max is ahead of him. But you're including games against League 2 opposition to suit your argument (which is his level to be honest)
How many has max got? 3? You see the problem is its a low scoring side, but people like to go after a player they don't like for lack of goals while completely ignoring all areas to his game yet they do exactly the opposite for a player they like
