I see a few Pompey fans in shirts outside West Quay in Southampton, and I always stop and buy a "Big Issue" from them. Well we all have to do our bit! My son used to play football in the Mid Solent league which meant regular trips to the East of the county. He would always wear his saints shirt, and would get a dogs abuse from the opposition players and some parents - nice.

Why anyone would wear a cheap bit of polyester with a massive sponsor plastered on the front of it is beyond me. Especially when on holiday.... *cringe*

My older brother on his tour of Afghanistan met two kids playing football in pompey shirts and they called him a scummer when he said he supported southampton! the cheek of the bastards...
I get alot of 'your along way from home' when i wear mine around B'ham. Also have Saints stickers in my car and get the odd person flashing me around this area.
I was at Waterloo Station meeting a friend when hundreds of fans wearing Saints tops poured off a train...put a smile on my face.
