Not at chelsea they don't. :)

They will now fall short of 4th should they will it.

He's been playing well generally, but all he had to do to score that one tonight was be able to run 30 yards without falling over. Three defenders all just decided to run the other way.

I said a few weeks back that I think that West Ham might just get top four. I still think that they might....they have everything to play for now in the last few games.

Yeah, any player with speed had a chance of scoring that one, still a nice finish though.
His game has always been about speed and energy, he is a terrier when chasing down opposition players and would always be the first man to press up top (he would actually fit in a Klopp team quite well). He went through a period where he scored a good amount of goals for both us and England by arriving in the box at the right time then suddenly everything just stopped.
Really don't know what happened but he seems over it now.

    Another win for West Ham.

could go one of two ways. Being properly in mid for top 4 with majority of players that haven’t been under that sort of pressure before could make them cave in, or they could relish it as the under dogs and play with some freedom.

you’d prob still say chelsea and us are favs based on squads. Spurs also although their form is pants. We have on paper the easier fixture so if we can sort out our **** form at home abs against lower teams we should be in with great chance.

Everton and West Ham prob the outsiders given the inexperience of doing it but makes for an exciting finish to the season.

If you keep up the form of your last couple of games i see you getting 4th with some to spare.
It would take a massive drop from us or Leicester for you to go any higher but not impossible. If you had regained form (or at least to the level you are currently playing) 5 or 6 games sooner i would seriously be worried about our position.

i think top 3 are sorted and don’t expect that to be any different unless Leicester totally collapse. Think Leicester only really need 4 wins out of last 8 games tbh.

if we keep up our form yes, but that’s the issue. I think at this stage anyone that goes and wins 4/5 on the bounce will secure 4th because everyone is inconsistent

If we hadn't been complete **** for 10 weeks even City might have. :)
It's all too late now, but I just hope we can get back to playing properly - scrape top 4 and be back to serious contenders next season.
After we've won the CL, obviously.

    I don’t think so.

I think looking at the fixtures (dangerous and unreliable thing to do !)

Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool could all finish on 71/72 points. Assuming that LFC have rediscovered their form and banished that incomprehensible home curse. To achieve this total we have to win 7 and draw one (against MU). Leicester have to win 5 of their last matches which are winnable. Chelsea have to win their 6 winnable matches and draw the other 2. Not unrealistic considering Tuchel’s previous unbeaten run.

So 3 fighting for 2 places and the tightest race to the CL for ages. If Chelsea and Arsenal win the CL and Europa respectively, the fourth placed team (possibly us) would miss out if I’m not mistaken.

Amazing how 1 round of fixtures can change the landscape again! Things worked out nicely for us this week but I won't be getting too excited just yet.

I've accepted that we won't qualify for top 4 this season (lowered my expectations!) but it would be nice to end the season strongly so that can put the recent poor form down to just an isolated period. Since moving Fabinho back in midfield, results and performances have been far better.

if we had beaten fulham (disgraceful performance) we would now be in 4th on GD from.

    the margins are now tight.

there no point getting ahead of ourselves. the next game in the league is villa. Chelsea Play palace away and west ham take on Leicester. Finally spurs play man utd ( and some shower form the south coast take on everton)

IMO we need to win this one and the see.

Its a big ask to take on villa when they get a full week rest and we travel

One game at a time, just win our own games - and various other clichés.

Given how unpredictable the season has been (other than City sitting top) thats the best you can hope for. I would say its likely those other clubs will stumble in the next two months (also given that there a a fair few games against each other), but that only matters if we keep winning.

Whilst if Wham did finish in the top4 you can only say fair play to them, I do think it would be... not great. They would have to qualify first? And if they were too or given automatic entry to the group stage, I can't see it going well, definiate whipping boys of any group.

Everybody is expecting Wham to fall away, just like they did with Leicester in 2015. They could just spring a surprise with Lingard in incredible form and helping them enormously. Without him they’d be nowhere.

We are in a position where draws are like defeats as we are trying to catch up. All our matches are eminently winnable and if we play well we should get all the points left. We just have to keep our fingers crossed that all the teams in front us drop points.

look west ham have nothing but the league. its mainly one a week for them. thats is a big big positive.

however the reality is they've also coughed up loads of points by being really negative. and they also have not got rice so legs in midifeld are then an issue.

Leicester, newcastle and chelsea are up next and i couldn't predict what results they will get.

about the only game i'd strongly fancy them in is southampton on the last day.

In a way it’s a shame we are not playing against any of our top 4 rivals. It would have been easier to peg them back and we would have been in control.

With Fabinho back in midfield, I feel we have turned the corner against the sh*t teams who sit deep. Fabinho positioning alone has us much higher up the pitch. Allows us to pen the opposition back and put them under sustained pressure.

the financial reports continue to come in.

Man city have reported a 126million pound loss on the 2019/20 season

man utd report quarterly to the yank stock market and forecast 100mil+ losses

    Arsenal reported a 47mil loss

spurs reported a 64 million loss.

I can't wait to see our figures. they are going to be the biggest of all.

Hmmm interesting point there. We have also had a massive loss this season so maybe it washes out??
