I drove along the A20 for the first time in a while and saw the new Cray Wanderers site. Am I correct in recalling that this site was once home to a golf driving range?
There used to be a golf complex near there, may have been the same place. Started off as a driving range, developed into a short golf course as well.
Just saw a clip of Pep Guardiola pleading poverty for Manchester City because they can't afford to buy that guy from Dortmund for £130m. Mayby City should furlough a few of their little people...
City won't be able to afford to replace Aguero... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56614329 Stop please, I'm tearing up already Shall we have a whip-round? I found an old round pound while I was spring cleaning...
Louis Mendez said that Bogle tried to do a stepover, kicked the ball against his standing leg and it went out for a Charlton throw.
I've never gambled on a sporting event, but I'll admit when I heard Chelsea had gone down to 10 men I was tempted to put a couple of quid on WBA to win at 25 to 1 (Baggies were still 1-0 down at the time). Wish I'd stuck a tenner on it now
I always believe ex players will score against us, but as Fridays game went on, it became clear it wasn’t happening. Inniss played a big part in that.
Taylor didn't get his usual 15 minutes of exercise, spent the whole 90 minutes watching Forest's best win of the season. They should give him a nice armchair and a flask of Bovril instead of that nasty cold bench.
Quite a shock - almost half the league under embargos. Not Millwall though Plenty of ex-Premier League sides who squandered their parachute money there. I have sympathy for Coventry after their hedge-fund Hell. No time for splurging ex-Prem chokers though.
Lots of football clubs will no doubt be in trouble but I think this is a bit of a non-story. Further down the article they state it is down to submitting annual accounts late. Because of the pandemic Companies House gave businesses a three month extension but for some reason the Football League haven't allowed football clubs to do the same.
I see Derby have been taken over by a former Southall associate and the deal is rumoured to have been brokered by Southall. The name of the consortium sums it all up really. No Limits Sports ...Limited
The local Range Rover dealership will be popping those champer corks Derby County, prepare to be robbed blind! If he poses for publicity pics with one of their youth teams, £100 for the first kid who kicks him in the knackers
EFL: PFA will consider legal action over squad size limit proposals https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56666478 Not sure if I understand what the EFL is doing here
