It’s not a nailed on defeat. It’s one PL team against another PL team. We aren’t the favourites but we still have a chance of getting a positive result. Admittedly under Bruce it’s unlikely but we have to go into every game looking for 3 points. Not one, not accepting defeat but go for 3 points. Fulham aren’t going into games accepting defeat and they have a fighting chance. We need to go into all our matches not accepting defeat and fighting for 3 points in each game to have a chance to stay up. Any other attitude and we’re down. Aim just at 4 games and we’re down.
Ok mate whatever I'll remind you at about 4pm tomorrow. It's a drubbing this one.. Over by half time in afraid.
Bruce's been too negative from day 1! He was playing with 3 cms and leaving almiron and Fraser on the bench even when he had options. We should've without any doubt have been playing 4 2 3 1 all season, but he had refused to try it even once. Steve Bruve actually thinks what he's doing works and that's the scary thing... No matter what happens he's found an excuse or even in some cases told himself that we drew the 1st or 2nd half. He's not going to have a go at any point.
Because Bruce has nothing to cling onto but his experience as a manager, he overvalues it with **** players.
Serious question. If we lose tomorrow does Bruce get the sack. Surely the media pressure at some point will be to much. I still can’t believe Ashley would allow us to zombie into relegation without some form of response.
I don't think so now. It's too late. We'd have to have someone lined up and ready to go at this point. I can't see any decent manager wanting to take that job unless they know that the club is definitely being sold.
Bruce is here as long as Ashley is.. If we go down Bruce will remain in charge. If we stay up and arbitration is lost Bruce will be given a new contract.
Well, that's two definite starters tomorrow sorted. I'm somewhat convinced Ashley/Bruce/Charnley are just in it for kicks now.
That's a bit rough, Joelinton does a great job of marking the opposition left back. Just a pity that he offers very little else. He does remind me of Jon Dahl Tomasson or Andreas Anderson, not a bad player as such, just not suited to the league or the style of play.
Both will start. Hendrick is the worst of the two Joelinton should be on the left though that would help
