Sky lot raving about De Bruyner for the last 5 minutes for making a copy of Mc Geady's pass to Gooch.

Really fancy us coz we have better players than them, and definitely more match winners.

So it’s 1-3 for me, tho it’s probably even more important that if for some reason we don’t win, we don’t lose.

These threads are superb. Thanks RTB.

I dont like second guessing LJ team selection because he is proving to be an unpredictable genius. However, if it were me I would be thinking of Stewart and Wyke and O'Brien - to scare the life out of their defenders.

    Burge,
    McLaughlin, Sanderson, O,'Nien
    Jones, Power, Scowen, McGeady
    O'Brien, Wyke, Stewart

Harsh on Gooch after his performance but this is all about the squad. No doubt I am a million miles off <laugh>

Great thread as always. Be quite happy with a point. Big game needs a big team effort. Hope we get it. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    cheers again RTB...

thought all along this is more a must not lose rather than a must win...was fairly even last game, dembele caused a lot of problems 1st half and we are almost a different team now, a lot more confidence on the pitch and jones just adds more to the team.

have a feeling they will expect pretty much the same again and they could well be in for a shock ala pompey.

Jack Taylor. Cracking little player. Would love us to take a look at him if we go up. Their dip in form has had a lot to do with him being out for as long as he has

Last played a month ago when they luckily beat Wigan, at home, with a dodgy penalty a few minutes from the end.

They'd managed 3 on target shots, all game, compared to Wigan's 8 attempts ...

    ... I'm terrified.

It's a shame about this covid carry on because I think this game and the Hull game would have been chocker with Sunderland fans anywhere and everywhere in the ground I think we can go there and get a positive result. Ha'way the Lads

    We'd have swamped Peterborough wouldn't we ...

... we'll all be there in spirit though and the players know it.

I'm 1000 miles away mate but always spend the five minutes before kick off 'thinking myself into the ground'.

Might sound daft but I've already picked my spot in the ground for Monday ...

... also know which pub I'd be in and who I'd be meeting.

    It's all that's keeping me sane <laugh>
