    Great!

True enough. I barely watch tv anymore, particularly new stuff so issues like this immediately stand out. Will maybe try again with it

@luvgonzo have to say i'm struggling to get into Treme . Some great scenes but for me so far as a whole it is underwhelming and tbh all the jazz interludes are really beginning to grate .

Anyone on here watching the circle?

I’m hooked by it, completely inane but hilariously snide at the same time.

It’s a programme I really didn’t want to watch. I still haven’t told the missus that I actually like it.

Fences is only good if you have the patience to pay attention to it. It's dialogue is heavy but the dialogue is exceptional. As is the performances of those delivering it.

    Watching The Queen's Gambit.

It's very good. Not a film though, admittedly.

Who'd have thunk Chess could be so entertaining?

Godzilla vs King Kong - what a load of absolute garbage.

80 mins of boring sub-plot where literally fck all happens, capped off with an underwhelming 10 min fight scene at the end.

Oh and one more thing... the dislocated shoulder <laugh>

Brilliant garbage tho. <party> I really enjoyed it but then I was expecting absolutely ridiculous and I wasn't disappointed, I just take those bits as jokes tbh.

I Mean what the **** you want in a king movie bro.. Dialogue and meaningful plot? <laugh>

Ah same man but it wasn't even mindless entertainment. I'd put Starship Troopers in that bracket. But I'd watch that film over and over. Especially mash up. This was dull unfortunately.

<ok> aye I was just making the distinction. No real plot or great dialogue ("they sucked his brains out" <laugh> ) but a well made bubble-gum pop sci-fi action film.

The propoganda thing is so well done. Ups the film imo.
