Yeah, he was already dead. They thought on route there may have been a rhythm change, so they shocked him, but he reconfirmed he was deceased but working cardiac arrest.
Right, I guess thats where I got confused earlier then with the other paramedic. Makes complete sense then that they stopped and then he was pronounced dead there after trying again to revive him. Glad it was nothing sinister anyway which I wasn't sure about.
No prob mate. Cop killed him on the scene bro. Paramedic was no nonsense, he can't say the cop killed him, but he didn't need to.
Sounds like they tried non stop to revive George, and used every medical procedure possibly from the back of an ambulance.
Yeh i heard the other paramedic say he thought he was dead when they arrived, this is when the prosecution lady got back up after the defence cross examined him for the 1st time. "Unresponsive and not breathing" were his words I believe Did you think he was dead when you arrived? "yes"
Fireman confirmed 80% of their calls is medical. He said anyone that thinks otherwise has been watching the wrong shows.
Fire guy reported that George was killed while in custody of the police. He even sent a crew back to pick up the EMT girl, who had been at the scene during George's arrest. So I'm going to guess he's pretty pissed off with the cops, because he would have got her version of events.
The fire emt who was asking to assist And got told to stay out of it? Ill be watching all this later but I'm glad for the updates
Yeah the fire guy knew her, so its made the cops look a bunch of dicks. Hence why he got a crew to go and pick her up from the scene.
Saw George's bro give an interview today, bit hard to watch, guy with so much dignity, reassuring the witnesses they are not to blame, no one is to blame except that cop.
The supervisor phoned Chauvin after a report from a dispatcher. Chauvin cut his camera off, during the conversation but that is allowed within policy. Supervisor has confirmed Chauvin did not reveal total details of the incident. What's the point in bodycams if you are allowed to switch them off on duty, regardless if it was a private conversation.
The prosecution should be all over that, as whilst it might be acceptable protocol in normal duty situations, there’ll be no requirement to, and that wasn’t a normal situation.
Lots of information to soak up, but the prosecution have done well I think. Theyve helped witnesses one by one paint a vivid picture of what unfolded that day so far.
Objection going on now, prosecutor tried to question the supervisor regarding the scope of force he saw being used, when he had seen the footage.
