If you need the positive permission of the State to go outside and work and travel and perhaps even to try to leave, then there is NOTHING they cannot do to you. This is the fake trade-off for fake safety that will land you in serfdom, and the road back once you cross that Rubicon is neither easy nor peaceful, so turn back now while it still is.
