To be fair mate, we're in a promotion fight and probably would've been without Gooch or Jones ....

... Johnson has turned this into a squad game and who knows who'll emerge as a hero.

The problem is i expect him to be better than he is. I have built him up in my head to be better than he actually is

As much as some lack talent it's fair to say they're all giving their all now and contributing when they have to. It's a real shame when players get put on by the crowd and disintegrate, Micky Gray used to get loads of stick as I recall and we've toiled for a left back since, not saying he disintegrated mind. Quinn was badly liked before he kicked a ball for us and had to get folk onside.
I don't get it unless there's a Rodwell situation to be honest where they're just taking the piss. Wyke a great example of having a manager who understands his strengths and a player playing with confidence. Some players can't take the stick and it all becomes self fulfilling. No reason to moan at the moment in my opinion and fair play to Gooch for trying his heart out for us, I like him even though he can be innefective just because he gives a **** and does his best. One last name Honeyman . . . sad to say better off without us moaning unappreciative gets

Don't forget Hume mate, it really used to wind me up when he first came into the side how crap, many claimed he was, yet 99% are desperate for him back.

Spot on, the sum is great than the individual components and no matter who is in or out, we find a way to win or at least not lose (touch wood, rabbits feet).
Johnson has done amazing but the positivity is running right from the top from KLD, Speakman and down to everyone else. I heard an interview from Speakman a while back about treating people the right way and I think it was Grant who said about Johnson that he cares about people and that is how the club appears to be now, positivity seems to be everywhere. In terms of motivating people that's brilliant. AOB's interview after the Bristol Rovers win was great especially when he said he knows exactly what is expected of him before he walks on the pitch and I bet that's the case for every single player we have.

I ****ing hated O'Shea mind. Such a bang average player.

I'd have had you in the side over him any day of the week.

I find it hard to believe that, 'The Rain in Spain falls mainly on the Plain',
But others make a big song and dance about it.:emoticon-0100-smile

    That's life.

I think we'll see him start on the bench tomorrow, and come on after about an hour.
He'll start from the beginning in our bigger game this weekend against Peterborough

Straight back into the side if he's fit enough for me. He's scored twice and has three asissts off 383 minutes of footy, involved in a goal every 70 odd minutes.

something i seem to remember mentioning last season/early this season, at times we could not find a team member to pass to and it often looked like the players were unsure of where they were meant to be...quite a few 'schoolboy errors', now we have a squad that knows what it is meant to do on the pitch and the difference is clear as crystal.

i think we have had a squad capable of promotion since we dropped but we missed the right person to organise them and give them a 'tweak'.

If he was with us from the start we'd be top of the league imo.

I can see Jones getting some important goals for us on the way to being champions.
