If you guys want some perspective on social media and the USA you should dip into a Netflix documentary called the bleeding edge. It's not about social media but it shows the American attitude to a lot of things and how people are always secondary to money. Social media has been set up globally (I use that loosely) on American laws and american lobbying for legislation that allows companies away with just about anything. Social media companies are set up to enable and exploit everything and anything from fake adverts to data miners publishing misdirecting targeted news etc. In 2016 the likes of Facebook were big winners off trump, massive payments from Russia and cambridge and whoever to put out false content and they win again in 2020 selling on the other side. The bleeding edge outlines 5 or 6 stories of wanton disregard for human suffering in the medical device industry. Don't believe for a second the social.media giants have not done the same
Played on Monday for first time since October. Felt it yesterday. Mainly in my feet rather than anywhere else.
