Match Day Thread Away Vs Donny ... Friday 12:30 (early)

Always going to happen once they cancelled the MK game. Still, extra days for Inniss to get fit and for Adkins to sort out our defence

 

So it's definitely off.
Well done chaps for keeping an eye on this developing story.

So after Donny away on Friday 2nd April, our next games will be...

Sunderland away on Saturday 10th April.
Ipswich at home on Saturday 17th April.

As things stand anyway. No midweek games for four weeks straight.

 

Dropped down another place, the caravan dwellers won tonight.

 

Overtaken by Gillingham, who are 2 points above us but have played 39 games (to our 37).
They'll play again (Blackpool on April 5th) before we meet Sunderland and they play Shrewsbury on Saturday 10th April.

Once those games are played Charlton will have 7 games remaining, Gillingham will have just 4.

 

I still think we'll finish around 9th.

 

I agree, it is asking too much to get into a Play off place. We have shot ourselves in the foot so many times this Season. It still can be done but I don't think it will.

 

I think tomorrow will decide our season. If Nigel Adkins can do something to reset our defence to how it was at the start of the season then I still think we have enough goals in the team to take 6th spot.

BUT it is a very big ask. If we don't win tomorrow then I think that's it, but if we do, it could be the start of that all important run-in momentum. Other teams above us WILL drop a lot of points between now and the end of the season and an 'easy' run-in is never what it seems - you only have to look at some of the results at the end of last season. Keep the faith......

 

I agree we have to win tomorrow, another uneasy watch on Sky. I really don't enjoy watching us on Sky, we seldom win.

So, two hours until the proper start of our new era under Nigel Adkins, Johnnie and Jason.

Donny haven't won in their last 5, we are unbeaten in our last 5.

Season defining game coming up, so lets have no doom and gloom.

Would go for a 3-0 Charlton win, but not sure he's had long enough to sort out the defence completely so........3-1 to Charlton

 

Absolutely. Plenty of time for that after the match.

 

I think Aneke has got to start. Play him alongside Stockley and it will cause Doncaster a few problems.
