There will be bigger clubs who probably weren't sure and let him come here last summer, but there's bound to be interest.. 30 million or something is most to them and Ashley will see it as good business at his age.. Wilson himself will jump at the chance if a top 8 club comes in
I feel villa were more keen on getting watkins and would only go so far... Its my opinion that if villa wanted him they'd have signed him.
It's quite simple... No takeover and nufc is finished as a top flight club.. Ashley will restructure and strip away everything to suit the finances of the championship and we will struggle.. He'll settle for 17th in that league if we don't bounce straight back up
Fair point, it really isn't, is it? It's sadly predictable. Think Chaos is right - I think we're getting ready for relegation (if not immediately, then next season) and are stripping it back to 'survive' at that level.
It's going to get alot worse over the next few years. The slow stripping away will continue all the way down the leagues.
That will sort the men out from the boys in terms of supporting the club or not. Surely a couple of seasons in the championship will persuade fatty to sell up for a reasonable price.
If we get relegated we are on a hiding to nothing and it could spell the end of the club. If Ashley let's the club fall into the Championship and the aim is survival (while waiting for a takeover) you can almost guarantee we will be in relegation trouble within 3 years in the Championship and I'm not sure we can survive like Sunderland have in League 1. If that happened I think the club would go bust and then, and only then, would people outside of the club ask how it's come to this - with a simple answer - Mike Ashley.
I can’t see it getting that bad but hey I didn’t think this would happen. Honestly feels like we are coming to the end of something here.
