Ironically the Europhiles that still think they're part of the club are the one's that the vindictive French will be punishing.

    My heart bleeds for them

You have clearly failed to understand the issue. I'm not inconvenienced in the slightest as I don't spend more than 180 days a year innFrance and I have a house in the UK. However if you reside there you're ****ed as your licence will expire on December 31. This is why they are having to come back. The Spanish have just decided to enforce the Free Movement rule after 90 days and caught out the Union Jack shorts wearing egg and chippers,

    A Union you say? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

“These are not failures of the commission. These are failures of the member states in total and so I don’t think that the getting rid of Mrs Von der Leyen would be helpful,”

The remainers didn't have a ****ing clue what they were voting for.

My mum's in Spain and they aren't even allowed to travel to the next town , they have police road blocks set up .

Without the tourist Industry Spain will be completely screwed , those German banks better start printing money to bail everyone out .

Glad we won't be expected to chip in that's an expensive round.

You are wrong but I cannot be bothered correcting yet another brain dead Remainer who does not know that there were two documents in this process. We did end up with the sh*te BRINO that May negotiated made worse but that was just the divorce bill, not the actual deal. The actual deal was just the last year and our ‘friendly’ neighbours refused to give us something comparable to distant Canada because they have to punish us for their stupidity.

what's this rubbish about french driving licences?
"British drivers who move to France will only be able to drive for a year on their UK licence before being obliged to swap it for a French licence. It is important to bear this in mind because if the exchange is not done within the year then a French driving test is required."

UK economic data confound forecasters and beat expectations

The latest UK economic data has been significantly better than economists expected, suggesting households and companies have been more resilient to the latest lockdown and Britain will climb international economic performance league tables in the months ahead.

For weeks, economists have had to adjust to better-than-expected data and are rushing to revise up their forecasts for economic performance in the first quarter.

The forecasting errors of recent months also suggest that the economic recovery from the pandemic will be faster than thought, brightening the outlook, especially with the increased government support announced in the March Budget.

The OBR forecast earlier in the month that the UK economy would regain its pre-pandemic size in the third quarter of 2022, six months earlier than it forecast in November. Many analysts see that as too pessimistic.

Anybody interested in a free ride in a helicopter for 4 people?
I'm looking for 2 more people to join us on Saturday 2nd of April. We leave early morning from Biggin Hill airfield ( London ) and will fly to the river Avon where we will have breakfast, and then take a yacht down the river for lunch.
We’ll have another flight along the coastline, before returning back home.
If interested please pm me...Preferably someone with a helicopter and yacht, otherwise we can't go.
