Found myself listening to Yes recently. Considerably less **** than I remembered them tbf - Ian Anderson's voice was pretty unique. Always thought the album covers were the best thing about them really.
I don't see myself as religious, but I don't deem myself an atheist either. As a child, CofE was the main stay of my parents, as I got older I got uncomfortable with the way religion was used as a placement in things I did as I was growing up. What I mean by that is like finding a club I went to for activities had the placement of Christianity with in ways of any issued literature. I enjoyed one book that was given to me when I was young, the usual Adam and Eve story, it was clearly wrote in a way to capture the mind of children. But as I say, it was a story, a story like many religions that have gaping holes in them if studied more closely. I've never decided what religion I want to be, or even if I want to be a religion, I go through life with an open mind. Give me a religion that will stop atrocities in Ethiopia and Myanmar and I might sit up and listen. For me a Church, Mosque, Synagogue, Temple should be a place of safety or/and worship not to be desecrated by any man.

Whenever we chat about religion i always think how funny it is that in court you swear on a bible (or your book) But stand in that same court and say God told you to do it and see how far you get.
I’ve read plenty of the bible, not cover to cover, but a fair old chunk of the ****er. Some pyar bullshit in there like.
I bought Selling England by The Pound, didn't really play it much. More of a Hawkwind and Led Zep fan tbh. Then along came Punk, and all the prog rock stuff went in the bin where it stayed for 30 years.
Zep Trapeze and Sabbath are probably the only bands I play from that era now, plus a few odds and sods on a playlist.
I still give these guys a listen every now and again mate. R.I.P. Bon Scott - a rocker if ever there was one.
