Oasis are overrated. There was a truck load of Indie bands that were better than them when they burst onto the scene.
 
They were undoubtedly good and very influential, and I don't think anyone's said otherwise.

It's just this whole culture of having to think of them as God like that's where I think they're overrated. I feel like a lot of people like them purely because it's popular to do so. I've seen people my age and younger wearing their merchandise but can't name a single song.

They were a good band, indeed a very good band. I just don't believe they're worthy of this God like status as if there's never been any better bands. And find it weird that it's considered blasphemy if you don't want to place John Lennon's bell end in your mouth every time theyre discussed.
