There is a slight concern that bar set pieces or crosses we really do struggle to create much. We are desperate for Hume and Jones to come into this side
We’ve been pretty uncharacteristically poor but it’s a relief to have a lead, the referee has been largely OK but still they’ve got away with a lot, Wyke gets wrestled every time the ball comes near him. By the letter of the law Leahy should have had a second yellow but would have been harsh.
We just have to be patient with these games imo. They were wasting time, kicking us and making it all chaotic. Our quality will tell imo and we need to start running past their defence ... ... another goal and we'll destroy them.

Get these games over line is all we need to do. We all seen what happened when Pompey tried to play us. Only them and Tranmere have recently.
Promotion is all on us. We have the squad, the quality and the mentality to do it. Not convinced the others in the race have all of the above. All in our hands, other teams being beat is nice but we just need to take care of business.
All of this with 4 or 5 first teamers out. I would think Hume, Wright, Wills & Jones would be automatic starters.
i see onien was man-handled in the box at the corner again, not like he is prolific from corners like but they do seem to keep a tight hold on him.
Well their bit of abysmal defending/marking at a corner allowed O'Brien to scuff a goal... I will take it Too much head tennis, need to match their aggression and play football!
Generally, when we get our noses in front, the game opens up and we show what we're about. Still going for 0-3 today!
