All please watch McFadzean today. Gets all the flack but he’s been excellent for a month, can we have some credit for the lad if he keeps it going. Ill gladly take the pie if he has a stinker, but we need to be behind the lads and rather than credit the lad all that’s happened is he’s stopped getting pelters. Side looks comfortable enough to dust these off.
But so did their previous manager John Sheridan who got them to 4th then 14th. Barton had them 11th. Not really a significant improvement
You are spot on Nads, he was making some really daft decisions and got penalised for them. He seems to have the bad decisions coached out of him the past couple of weeks and he looks a player lately. Me and my big mouth, he'll probably cost us points now
Agreed mate. Many players have gone up a level under the new management, all have had their credit and dues bar him. He’s been positionally better, he’s got forward better, and one thing he’s always done is put the shift in. In this new era for the club, be nice if our side was building up rather than tearing down. We are all well behind Burge now, Winchester, the lad deserves his bit.
Very young Bristol rovers team. Martinez hasn’t even got a wiki page. May not have it in them to kick us off the pitch as I feared. Need to start on the front foot and score an early goal.
Not a bad shout that. Barton was saying only yesterday that he’s almost ready and the quicker they get him back the better, hopefully it’s a couple of games too soon for him. He played 14 games before he got injured but conceded 20 goals in those games and kept only 3 clean sheets. I’m not so sure he’s the player Barton makes him out to be. He was mentioning him in the same breath as Schmeichel, seaman, james and Given yesterday.
He's only rated because the replacements are all over the place. He's in a relegation team for a reason. We need to get under his chin on corners and see how injured he is.
He’s improved in every single game IMO. whether that’s down to having time to settle or LJ’s coaching who knows but he’s a better player than when he arrived here.
