    Depends on the restaurant. London has amazing curries and **** curry places. Only a low-IQ spastic thinks Brick Lane does a decent curry fyi.

    I googled "Tyneside Indian Takeaway" and looked at the top two results that had a web link, the first didn't do pakora but the second did, both vegetable and chicken.

    I'm not one to generalise but very often dirt poor Bangladeshis come to Britain and work their arses off to make a successful business putting lots of love and effort into the food.

    The kids get sent to Uni and return to take over the business and the restaurant goes to **** because their hearts aren't in it .

    This has been my experience over the years .

    In Chinatown eat at the restaurant full of Chinese people with barely any spare tables is the way to go .

    Hungs was my favourite but that closed last time I was on town.
    Four Seasons in Queensway also fabulous they do the best roast duck.

    The Village was always full of Asian folk eating. I've been going there for years. I hadn't been for a while and decided to go in for lunch as I was in a cash and carry near by. The standards have fell right through the floor. Not just the food but the service. Real shame.

    If I want excellent, authentic Chinese food I call my daughter in law and tell her she's making dinner.

    <cheers>

    I like it actually. You should try Balmoral Chicken that is great, haggis inside a chicken.

    Always get that when I meet @Toley Fart at Nonna’s Kitchen before we inevitably cross swords after a shandy or two.

    @biggestfaggotontheplanet to confirm.

    I've never eaten it. I like the chicken idea so is it just a stuffing really?
