I recall 2 years earlier at Sealand Road visiting yobbos cavorting in celebration of an important 0-0 . How many travelled in a 2450 crowd that day - 750?

No idea, I spent most of the 1980's in a drunken stupor! Those were the days when alcohol wasn't banned on away coaches, and we made the most of it.
Useless fact of the day, the main stand from Sealand Road is now the away stand at Port Vale.

Chester had a to die for timbered Elizabethan shopping gallery in the centre but also a mental estate on the outskirts Standard bipolar fare for early 80s away day.

    Oxford operating a similar dichotomy.
