One I like for tomorrow is running at Hereford. As long as there's no rain overnight and the ground continues to dry. AMANOFHISWORD made a promising debut on hopefully similar ground that the horse will get tomorrow. It goes into a handicap race and the three previous races have all been on heavy ground and the animal has never been near at the business end of the race. Them races will have ensured the handicapper didn't go overboard and its starting rating looks fair enough. The additional 3lb off from a very good pilot onboard is an added bonus. Currently 15/2
The going hasn't changed but there was a little bit of rain about last night. Another of day of enjoying the racing without a bet, for me.
I think I'll probably only have another one or two bets before Aintree, now. These next two weeks of racing is awful, really.
Is there any chance of setting a little friendly comp up on this board/thread? Every day we could have a £1 (pretendy) stake on a selection and let it ride out until Aintree starts. Keep us interested until the festival...
I have mates who have horses with a top northern trainer. Years ago I got a tip, the best 2yo in the yard was running in an evening meeting at Hamilton, nailed on it seemed. I called at the bookies to have a bet and watch it live. It finished last - I'm not joking. For that reason, when I get any more tips I promise not to pass them on. Have fun but never get out of your depth with this game.
