He wouldn’t be expensive though mate, I think we’d probably take around £10m on him due to his age, contract status and injury history. Possibly even less to be honest.

There’s going to potentially be a lot of players we sell this summer that won’t recoup what we paid but simply moving them is on is key. Some are on relatively high wages too, not many Ozil’s thankfully but enough that are earning far more than what they’re worth. Lamela for instance is on about £80k-£90k, if he was someone who’d remain fit for most of a season that’d be worthwhile but he’s often only around for about a third of it and then from that third he’s good for about half of that or just over, so he doesn’t justify the outlay. Similar with Sissoko, think he’s also on similar, we can sell him for whatever, get his wages off the books and he’ll be replaced by Skipp for nothing and on far less money.

Also the guy who signed Luis Binks from Montreal
...and also Luis Binks from our U23s
...and also the bloke who loaned Luis Binks from Bologna to Montreal for the remainder of the season

With that celebration you'd see him fitting in perfectly at the Spammers or Chelsea...

Is actually mad that Rose has been here for 14 years yet only had about 2 and a half/ 3 good seasons of football. Was brilliant in them don’t get me wrong but... Bloody hell.

I’d keep Lamela...he won’t fetch much anyway but I think he will always be that player who when on the pitch can up the tempo, forgive his red card, it’s his first for us

I guess I trust him to turn up to the best of his ability every time and I don’t feel that of some others

I do quite like Lamela as a player but I just don’t think he’s good enough to warrant being paid £80k-£90k a week where you know for roughly 2/3s of a season he’s either unavailable or not 100% fit. He’s never really been one of our very best players and he never will be, so I think keeping a squad player on those wages is more detrimental than helpful. Wouldn’t be the first I’d kick out the door in the summer but he’s definitely on the list for me.

Just think how many squad players there are at Man Utd, The Sheikh Mansour Team, Saltypool or the Chavs who are on that

...wait, this isn't Twitter, I don't have to use the Lunatic Fringe's logic against them

Since we've been linked with Dusan Vlahovic this week, here he is scoring against Ireland last night

Bonus points for the Nikola Milenkovic cameo

    GK Watch
The Daily Flag has linked us with Wolfsburg's Koen Casteels

On the plus side it's about time we got the Belgian quota back up, as we're down to just the one and the Welsh section are taking over, but on the other hand there's an obvious issue: Casteels is contracted until 2024, which will hand Wolfsburg the advantage in any transfer negotiations, something which wouldn't be the case with Mike Maignan or Thomas Strakosha who have a year on their deals, and as both are also younger there's little reason to put Casteels at the top of any list

He didn't have a very busy game and Ireland's keeper is a 3rd choice Championship player and it showed.
Mitrovic scored two from the bench and was a lot more dangerous, despite a glaring goalkeeping error for his first.
Dusan Tadic was easily MOTM and I still don't get why Southampton sold him back to Ajax for pennies.

AS report we have made contact with Schalke over a possible deal for Matthew Hoppe

Now all we need to do is find a player named Jump so we can line up with Hoppe, Skipp and Jump next season...

Stewart Jump used to play for Palace. He's 69 now, so maybe not.

TuttoMercatoWeb report that we've made an enquiry about Aaron Ramsey

And this is why we need to keep hold of Harry Winks for another season, because our HG balance is so bad that Aaron Ramsey seems like a solution
    Close enough...

I don’t remember the club announcing too many pre-contract agreement activations on their socials before, you know the club knows Scarlett is a mad talent to be doing that.

Excited to see this lad progress.
