The greed reference was apparently an attempt at a joke as the Tory chief whip was stuffing his face on camera while listening to de Pfeffel. He can hardly be Trump 2.0 when Trump 1.0 is still around and has a son being groomed to be Trump 2.0.

Clearly de Pfeffel picked the right populist cause to get the gig whilst that lifetime loser The Bearded One picked all the minority causes like Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA that nobody fancied. Astonishing the way these election things work – when you offer to just print money to nationalise everything and only tax the rich to pay for anything so broadband can be free, even the stupid British public are not gullible enough to tick the box.

As it is, capitalism is the reason that we have vaccines. The world’s pharmaceutical giants do not spend billions on research with a philanthropic imperative. They do it to make money, although in the case of the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab there is an altruistic agreement to supply it ‘at cost’ globally for a couple of years.

I am sure that some will share the sympathies of Ross Clark writing in the Telegraph: “A year ago we had no idea that a disease imported from China would prove to be so virulent. It is called authoritarianism, and it has ravaged the Government, Parliament and public agencies, leaving its victims unable to think beyond what to ban next, what to close down, what to cancel.”

In the British Parliament at Westminster, the Conservatives have a substantial working majority. The opposition parties consist of a large group of anti-British Marxists who will always vote against them, an unrepresentative group of anti-English Celts who will always vote against anything except leaving; and a bunch of irrelevant splinter groups.

On Thursday then, when the government places its latest draconian legislation before Parliament, it has to be hoped that enough of the Conservative MPs will realise that the latest stealth authoritarianism, impinging upon our democratic freedoms on increasingly diminishing grounds, needs to be properly scrutinised and amended. No doubt the Neanderthals will be out fighting with the police in Bristol again but most of them have no idea why they are fighting with them other than it is what leftie anarchists do rather than work.

Maybe one day think up your own posts rather than just rehash mine. I don't suppose you have many original thoughts. As for relevant contributions I offer my opinion poll stats ( true) as opposed to Saff Lads ( untrue)

Seems to a thing amongst the Union Jack wearing brigade. They are remarkably inept at using their own country's language. Mostly they can't spell and like greengrocer's apostrophes, don't know the difference between our and are or loose and lose. They probably also say " Nothing pacific ". I knew a chap very much like them, he was my car cleaner.

It's a similar, dull and pompous style, that seems to be aimed at boring people in to submission, due to an inability to hold an adult conversation.

Like so many others, he's held back by his bigotry, and desire to pigeon hole people. It leaves him confused when people don't conform to what he thinks their beliefs are.

They nearly all argue against a narrative of their own creation, that lacks any robust foothold in reality..

Boris smashing it out the park, at the moment.

'MAYBE HE'S GETTING NERVOUS!' BORIS JOHNSON CALLS IAN BLACKFORD'S BLUFF OVER INDEPENDENCE

BORIS JOHNSON mocked the SNP's Westminster leader Ian Blackford, questioning why he had failed to mention the party's bid for another Scottish independence referendum during a fierce Prime Minister's Questions.

Boris Johnson told the House of Commons that he was amazed Ian Blackford had not called for another referendum during his two questions in Westminster. The Prime Minister added that the SNP MP looks to be getting nervous regarding repeatedly demanding a vote on Scottish independence.

Mr Johnson said: "The right honourable gentleman represents a party that is so devoid of imagination that it cannot come up with any workable solutions to help the people of Scotland improve their education, improve the fight against crime.

"[They will not] cut taxes in Scotland where they are the highest in the whole of the UK.

"They are so devoid of imagination, they are a one-track record.

"All they can talk about is a referendum to break up the UK.

    Oooft!

The SNP delivering to the NHS heroes of Covid whilst the Tories piss on the graves of the martyred.

Boris the bluffer would rather talk shìte in the house than answer any pertinent questions asked of him. He will be forever known as the man who steared the union into the Iceberg and watched it sink.

How do you feel about the government cuts to the armed forces? I know you’re one of those flag shagger types who loves to fetishise the army, surely you must be appalled at this act of betrayal? Especially as it’s in direct contravention of a manifesto promise...
