They don't want a conversation, they want to 'win', but they lack the wit or weaponry to do that, so they resort to trying to bore people away from the subject. What they don't appreciate is the amusement their fact juggling and bigoted, over simplistic reasoning and pigeon holing brings.

It must be hard for them. They've been beaten when it comes to Brexit. They put Jeremy Corbyn up against us and our man give him one of the biggest hidings ever seen in British politics. They can't even win the ****ty ones that nobody is bothered about winning like Scottish independence and keeping the UK together.

What seems to hurt them more, is that they do seem to realise that in the situations where their preferred philosophy has been played out, the nonsense of it shines like a beacon.

They won't respond to this by offering examples of their preferred philosophy, they will try to spin it to a lot of pointless questions, and do a jig when they're ignored and dismissed as the pap they usually are. They'll still do that, even after I've pointed it out here.

 

What doesn't hurt me personally is Rishi weighing me out £30k for my business premises that were mothballed anyway. Now they are telling me that I'm in line for another £25k for my "lost" earnings based on my previous three years tax returns. Fifty five grand up my shirt will pay for lots of that piss cheap Lager that the bitter and twisted Easter Road reckons that I neck.

 

Or the bloke not in the pub because of Ireland's extended lockdown who never stops talking about the pub .

Nicola Sturgeon 'misled' parliament - MSPs find

The Scottish government’s handling of harassment complaints, and the subsequent judicial review, was "seriously flawed", according to the report by Holyrood’s Committee on the Scottish Government’s Handling of Harassment Complaints.

The committee also says it finds it hard to believe that First Minister Nicola Sturgeon had no knowledge of any concerns about inappropriate behaviour on the part of Mr Salmond prior to November 2017.

"If she did have such knowledge, then she should have acted upon it. If she did have such knowledge, then she has misled the committee," it says.

The report also concludes that in her written evidence, Ms Sturgeon gave an "inaccurate account" of what happened when she met Mr Salmond at her home on 2 April 2018, and had misled the committee.
