The Surf is in Del Mar which is a suburb of San Diego. Had a couple of friends who made the hour+ commute to play for them. When they play the Surf Cup, the tournament they host, I can watch it from my grandparents backyard. The Strikers are another club, had a couple people on the youth national teams in my age bracket a few years back.

I text him last night, he's moved out to Big Sur, but he said he'd wear his hair to the side so that you can recognise him.

failing that he'll wear a "Yoh Gringo" t-shirt.

Go to the bab shop but get a bab. Then wait for the guiness/bab gas to kick in.

Got a food quandry myself. Is it top pub food or mixed tandoori kebab tonight? Whichever I don't do tonight I will do tomorrow so it's no big deal really!

Go for the extra cheese and tell them to be extra generous with the mayo.

is there ever a wrong time to eat a kebab? love doner kebabs... chilli sauce and ketchup..

as to your own food quandary I'd do kebab tonight pub grub tomoro with a few ales to start the weekend...

EMF: most sensible thing you have ever said that, agree wholeheartedly with the addition of extra slice of processed cheese and mayo is vital on a burger...

I've started doing gym though and it's easier to pick up the bab en route back from there, which means it's either Tuesday or Thursday and I bring food back from home for Monday and Tuesday!! Which means it's likely pub tonight, once the CL starts again it depends on that as this pub has no TV.

The food is out of this world though and the waitressess superb!! As is the cloudy Somerset Cider.

    An Open Apology to EMF

Following my disclosure yesterday, I had another personal message from EMF asking me not to tell everyone he was and is KPR.

    Sorry EMF <smooch>
