Um, we hadn't won a game since January. If they went down to five we probably wouldn't have scored.

 

West Ham 2 up against Arsenal.

 

My Toon mate says they aren’t going to change. He, nor I, can see any sense if that is the decision.

 

Our ability to score is inversely correlated to the number of opposition players on the pitch. If we faced 20 men, we would be unstoppable.

I still don't think West Ham will do it (finish top 4), but this is the first time I've given them even a sniff.

Arsenal on the other hand... How many bad games is Arteta allowed to oversee?

(I know West Ham have had their own 0-3 comeback, but that game was one way traffic for 80 minutes. Whereas this 3-3 could be anything.)

 

We may have blown leads a lot, but never 3 goal leads.

 

Credit to Arsenal, they've been great since going 3-0 down.

 

I would say what a chance for Pepe, but he'd just be joining a list.

And didnt we go 3-0 up at home to Leeds about 20 years back, and lost 3-4?
