Morning @FosseFilberto mate. Big day today. Have a feeling a penalty will decide today’s game. Too many big players out for us so I reckon it’ll be a defensive set up.
Good morning Tel, mate. Will be an interesting one. We are generally much better away (although the home wins against Chelsea and Liverpool are up there with our best performances). With Maddison Barnes and now Pereira out we have lost a significant amount of our creativity, but the Vardy / Iheanacho partnership has really taken off and the latter's finishing over the last few games has been superb. All to play for, including the possibility of one of us being the first team to score double figures in a cup final ... should Southampton make it. Hoping for an entertaining game at the very least.
I appreciate spurs aren't playing well, but seriously mate I've experienced some very poor performances, but this season and last it passed it some some other realm all together... 18% possession with one shot on goal in 90 minutes. 2 wins in 20, Joelinton .. I've heard many a pundit saying nufc fans ask too much, but I mean seriously are they watching us play? Is ask what the club expects from he fans not the other way around. Nufc fans on twitter begging for Chris wilder... I'd argue we expect too little
If worse comes to worse and you did get relegated, then Chris Wilder would be ideal for bringing you straight back up mate...
Not sure how you can knock Chris Wilder, he took Sheffield United from League One football to the Premier League. That's quite some achievement.
The Championship is a really hard league to get out of ... but managers like Pulis, Warnock and Wilder know what's needed ... look at how Cardiff have taken off under Mick McCarthy ... you need to cut your cloth and all that ...
... and some of the football they played was really good ... far more adventurous than Mourinho with the Spuds
Then what happened though? I'd rather just give Jones a go, but it's all irrelevant anyway because Bruce is here for this season and next.
What do you mean, then what happened! Promoted from League One, promoted from the Championship, then ninth in the Prem in their first season (I think). Ninth....you know, those dizzy heights Newcastle never get to see.
